Spring -06 was a sorrowful period for us as our gorgeous young male S*Restless Explorer passed away after a short period of illness. For a while we where almost thinking of giving up the whole idea of breeding. However, life eventually goes on....

Unfortunately we never got the chance to have kittens in our own cattery name after our male Rudolf. To our joy and happiness Rudolf got the opportunity to have a date with Tähtitassun Lumikukka before he passed away. From the day Lumikukka left an almost unbearable (and looong) waiting started! We kept our fingers crossed through the whole pregnancy that Lumikukka would have more than just white kittens. As our former male Rudolf was the father to the expected kittens, our biggest wish was of course that there would be a new male for us to continue the bloodlines of Rudolf. Our secret dream was of course to have a new blueagouti-white cat, what else. A big smile came up on our faces when Eila informed us about the newborn litter. Except from the two white kittens there was in fact a bluemackereltabby boy! We where so impressed about the newborn pictures Eila sent us. Roope looked simply gorgeous!

We are extremely satisfied with Roope's development and it looks like he is getting more and more handsome as he's getting older. He's got excellent boning and a robust body. His profile is absolutely straight and he's got a nice forehead. His chin is also quite nice. The ears are nice shaped, open and perfectly set. Roope's best character, just like Helena's, is his beautiful look. Maybe they have inherited that from their dad, who knows. At least that's what we want to believe....

Roope seems to be a lively, happy and ingenious young man who very much likes to play and fuss around. After a tasty meal a nap on the highest bench in the sauna is what he enjoy the most. Like his sister Helena Roope is talkative and purrs loud. What else could one wish for?

Roope haven't been shown that much, but he has still done very well on his few shows and the judgements have been excellent.

Roope lives at Karita's parents here in Kokkola where he has company from a neutered male housecat. Weekly visits are of course already sceduled....

Big big thanks to you Eila! This handsome boy is a dream come true in many ways.
