SC FI*FoxyPaw's Rosy Dawn, JW DVM DSM
NFO fs 03 22
Rosy is a daughter of our first female Okki and our sweden import male Desperado. She is also the first kitten to stay home from our own breeding. In fact we already had a plan to keep a female from this combination even before thew kittens were born, that was if a female kitten and a "suitable" one would turn up of course. Well, little did we know at that time...When Okki finally gave birth, we could hardly believe what her big belly had been holding: a HUGE litter of no less than nine kittens, six females and three males! Within a couple of hours our cat population had grown from six to fifteen...
We could already see at an early stage that there was several promising looking kittens in the litter and this vision just got stronger during their growth, which made it even more difficult to choose a kitten. Furthermore, they also had some minor differences in both type and details. After a lot of brain racking and comparing we finally decided to go for Rosy. Why? Well, simply because we think Rosy has got the strenghts of her both parents combined with a classic tabby pattern, ears with tuffs and a fantastic temperament.
Rosy's development, alike her siblings, has been really nice and her weight at 6 months was a bit over 3kg. At the age of 4 years and 3 months her weight is about 5,5 kg. And she probably still is one of the smallest in her litter! She's got a long well boned body, big perfectly set ears with tuffs, a nice head triangle, a perfectly straight profile and a nice rounded forehead. Her eyes are well shaped and she's got a very nice coat quality. Actually it's hard to complain about anything...Temperwise she is a perfect combination of both Okki and Desperado: brave, social, playful but at the same time calm and smooth. She is also a big purring machine and it never stops, not even when she is eating!
Rosy's show results has been amazing so far. In august -08 she became Junior Winner and her fantastic show career has continued in adults with 12 x BIS in the first year. Her siblings has also done very well on shows and on one of the shows we had the joy to witness three kittens from the same litter in the panel! Must be a dream come true for any breeder...
