FI*FoxyPaw's Bubble Yum
NFO w 64
Bubble Yum, or Namu as we call her, is a daughter of SE*Just Catnap's Chad and our white female FI*Tähtitassun Balladi Helena. She is also a grand daughter of SE*Restless Explorer (our first forest cat) and a half-sister of "our" fabulous white male FoxyPaw's Icebreaker.
The father of Namu, SE*Just Catnap's Chad, is actually a son of Dorian av Tyssedal (DE), the father of Helena's first kittens. We very much adore both the look, temper and the pedigree of the kittens in Helena's first litter and it simply felt right to go for an offspring from Dorian.
Namu is the third cat from our own breeding to stay in the cattery. We've had thoughts about keeping a kitten after Helena at some point and eventually we could not resist this sweetie and her captivating personality. This girl is a true character with a big C!
Tecnically Namu is a very nice NFO female with excellent proportions. She is medium long in the body with a promising strong body & boning. She's got a very good head with a nice triangle, perfect profile line and a really beautyful high & rounded forehead. Her ears are good in size and perfectly set. The tail is quite good in lenght and her coat quality is also very promising. On top of it all she's got an absolutely fantastic look! Tuffs on her ears and a slightly stronger chin would make the head even better, but....
Namu has a very funny, crazy & strong personality. She is very talkative, absolutely fearless and she always wants to be in the center of all the action. In fact a couple of times she's almost been soaked up by the vacuum cleaner :-)) In other words very much like her half-brother Icebreaker from Helena's first litter.
So far we are very pleased with Namu's development and she seems to get more and more beautyful each day. Also her coat is getting more volume and her look is getting better and better. At the age of 6 months her weight is around 3kg. Even though Namu's show career is obviously quite short so far, she's done really well right from the start. She's been nominated a couple of times and she also won the BIV over her 2½ year old half-brother Icebreaker, who is one of the most succesful show cats ever in category II in Finland with almost 50 Best In shows so far!
Bubble Yum's nickname "Namu" basicly means the same as the word "yum" in english.
Big thanks to Kerstin & Lennart Kristiansson at Just Catnap's for letting Helena meet Chad!
