GIC FI*FoxyPaw's Bibbity-Boo
NFO n 09 22
Bibbity-Boo is the second kitten to stay in the cattery from our own breeding. Her parents are our sweden import cats SE*Restless Desperado, JW and SE*Zealous' Zemya Hamilton.
In late april 2009 two litters were born in our cattery. Zemya gave birth to four sweeties on the 20th and our white female Helena's five kittens with Dorian av Tyssedal were born four days later. Well, Helena's kittens looked really nice in many ways and it was also evident that they had fantastic tempers, no doubt about that! Especially the white kittens were really promising looking and it was extremely hard to make up our minds. However, we already had a white cat and after a lot of brain racking we decided to keep Bibbity-Boo from the other litter.
Bibbity-Boo is a very big and strong buildt female for her young age. We could see her strenghts in body, boning and tecnical details already when she was a tiny kitten and her magnificent development has still continued. As a kitten she was actually the same size and weight as her three brothers! Her weight at 9 months is about 4,3 kg and concidering her age she is without no doubt the biggest female we've had so far. Her weight is 5,6 kg in february 2012, at the age of almost 3 years.
Apart from her fantastic body and boning Pippi has got many strenghts that we admire in a fine breeding cat. She's got an excellent head with a nice triangle, a very long straight profile, a nice forehead and beautiful perfectly set ears with tuffs. We are also extra happy over her uncommonly strong chin. A strong chin makes a NFO head perfect....at least in our opinion ;-) We also love her beautiful tabby patterns and her shiny coat. On top of it all Pippi has got a really long tail. The perfect NFO? Well, her ears could maybe be one size bigger and her coat could be a bit coarser, but that's about all we can complain about....
Pippi is a very funny, lively and playful girl and we can see a lot of her mum in her behaviour. She loved to play on her own already when she was a kitten and she still knows how to amuse herself. It's not unusual to see her run around in the house like her tail would be on fire! But again, when we go to a show she is the coolest and most relaxed cat on the planet. Amazing! Not really what one would expect if one have seen her in her home environment!
Pippi's show career has been quite nice so far and it's going to be very intereresting to see how she will do as an adult. She might not be the flashiest show cat but she definitely is a lovely female and we believe her strenghts are in breeding. With the right male we are convinced that she will deliver super nice offspring!
