Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I was a child we had a lovely
little bitch of mixed breed (basenj / Karelian bear dog) called “Sviti”
(1967-1979). If you look carefully, you can find some similarities with
schipperkes, at least the bobbed tail!

I bought my first own dog
1989, a golden retriever “Mäntypirtin Joonatan” and 1992
“Karvin Isaak Newton” . We did some shows and competitions, but mainly these two
dogs were companions in out door activities and family members.
Year 2004 the boys were gone and I
started getting acquainted with other breeds. Schipperke seemed perfect for
us.
My first bitch “Taikurin Silke”
joined our family on June 2005. After a couple of years I did the breeders
exam. The next bitch “Coros Ginny” joined our family on January 2008. I own jointly with her
breeder.
Breeding is very interesting but
also demanding. I think it is very important that every puppy finds a loving
home, as dogs live about 10-15 years
Good health and character are, of
course, also important factors.
We are a family of six: mother, father
and four daughters. Two of the girls live in Helsinki (capital of Finland), one
will soon “leave the nest”, the youngest stays with us at home for a number
years to come.
We live in Kokkola, which is a middle
sized town on the western coast of Finland.
